Update!

This post is a update from me about progress with filming  As stated in previous blog posts we had trouble with the filming in the October half term. Unfortunately the 4 band members that we were proposing to film dropped out so we were left with no people to film! As soon as we returned to school we went out in our media lesson early morning to film the narrative as we were using one of our own girls as the main girl. The filming for these shots went really well, it was very cold but the weather was perfect, a combination of frost and summer, the time of the year also helped because the colour of the trees was beautiful, when looking at our shots afterwards the naturalistic lighting of the sun and the reflector really showed. Luckily, a guy in the year below us came on board to help us film the narrative shots of him and the girl and guy together. We went to the same location on the Thursday morning and it worked perfectly. We had the same weather and the guy we had looked the perfect part. Things were looking up!The following week we found 4 guys that were willing to come to the bandstand to us and act as Mumford and Sons for our performance filming. Again, this went really well and we came out with some brilliant shots, they looked the part and we were lucky that they were natural musical instrument players and had guitars! By the end of last week we had filmed all of both narrative and performance shots, now we are in the process of editing and finishing off our digipak which is going well!
